Richard Mason and Sara Randall won the 2006 & 2005 New Zealand Rally Championships (NZRC) in their Subaru EVOETA.

Our Credentials

Since Sara & Richard started their partnership in 2005, they have gained the most NZRC (New Zealand Rally Championship) Special Stage wins every year and have a NZRC Round Win strike rate of 54% (14/26)

They have an impressive 100% podium finish rate in Production World Rally Championship rounds entered and, as of the end of the 2009 season, are still the only New Zealanders to ever score a podium at Production World Rally Championship level - and they have done it on each of their three attempts (2 seconds, and 1 third).

Since the start of 2005, they have a NZRC podium strike rate of 81% (21 podium results from 26 rally starts)

Going into the 2010 rally season, Sara & Richard are currently both third (in their respective roles) for all time NZRC rally wins since its inception in 1977 - Richard with 16, and Sara with 13.

Sara & Richard hold the New Zealand record for the most NZRC rally wins in a row (6).

Most NZRC rounds take place over multiple days, Sara & Richard currently have a 60% win rate on NZRC days (legs)
